Online CPO Certification Course

With the restrictions in place to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus, PHTA has develped a new ONLINE Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) Fusion class

Once you register for the class, we will provide you with a code that will give you access to the Pool Operator Primer (POP) course. This is a self-paced online course that takes you through the 18 chapters of the Pool & Spa Operator Handbook. You’ll have access to a flipbook version of the Handbook within the course, and we will also be mailing a hard copy to you.

You’ll have an online prep course, which must be completed prior to the instructor lead session. There’s a quiz at the end of each lesson, and you must answer all the questions correctly to move to the next lesson. If you answer any questions incorrectly, you’ll be directed back to the lesson so you can find the correct answer. You can move at your own pace and repeat any sections that you wish to make sure you understand the content. Once you successfully complete the POP course, you’ll receive a Record of Completion, and you’ll need to save a copy.

We will then send you notification of an online real-time class that we will be conducting exclusively for the students in this course. When you login you’ll need to send me the Record of Completion, so we’ll know that you finished the POP course. We’ll spend the day going over content from the Pool & Spa Operator Handbook. Then, at the end of the day, you’ll take the CPO exam online.

We’re committed to making sure that you have the knowledge you need to be a successful pool and spa operator, and we appreciate your flexibility in these unprecedented circumstances. I look forward to meeting you online!
